A Wedding Day Filled with Heart
The perfect wedding day is what everyone hopes for or better yet dream of. A gentle breeze from the wind that just sweeps the veil just right and sunny blue skies create the perfect environment to utter the words, "I do". But often times outdoors wedding come with the possibility of rain or cloudy skies. Recently, I had the privilege and honor of photographing the most awesome couple. Driving to Lynchburg, Virginia, I prayed for sunny skies, and good weather. However it was not meant to be. One eye on the forecast and the other on the timeline of the day, it was decided that plan B was the smart way to proceed. During the wedding ceremony a downpour started and guests could hear the pitter patter of rain in the background. But through it all, I saw something that was brighter than any sun and that was the love between two people. The beaming smiles and laughs of joy emanating throughout the day made all the rain fall to the background. The rain became showers of blessings, amidst this couple approached the day with a positive and humble attitude. Every wedding is unique as the people getting married. It is what you make of the special day that counts the most. The most important thing is to have a wedding day filled with heart... I am so glad to have witness the power of love first hand - God's greatest gift.
